At YOKELINK, every Parallel Groove Clamp (PG Clamp) undergoes a strict quality control process to ensure reliable electrical performance, mechanical strength, and long-term durability in overhead power line and grounding applications. Our quality management system covers raw material inspection, precision manufacturing, dimensional verification, mechanical testing, and final product inspection according to international industry requirements.
The quality control process begins with incoming material inspection, where aluminum alloy, copper, or bimetal materials are tested for chemical composition, hardness, conductivity, and surface condition. Only qualified raw materials are approved for production to guarantee excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance.
During manufacturing, each parallel groove connector is monitored through CNC machining, forging, casting, and surface treatment processes. Critical dimensions such as groove radius, clamp body thickness, bolt hole position, and conductor contact area are precisely measured to ensure perfect compatibility with different cable sizes and conductor types.
For mechanical performance verification, our engineers perform torque testing, tensile strength testing, and assembly verification to confirm that the clamp can provide stable clamping force without damaging the conductor. The contact surface is inspected to ensure uniform pressure distribution and reliable electrical connection under long-term operation.
